I don’t want to jinx it, but we’re starting to feel a bit of normality creep back in after the crazy time we’ve all been through.
We’re starting to see more of the old faces come through the door, it’s so good to see you all again. Some new one’s too, and there seems to be a lot of people picking up skateboarding this summer! Genuinely my favourite part of this job is seeing the excitement in somebody picking up their first board, so drop by, we’re here to give you solid advice to get the right setup for you.
Speaking of newness, deliveries are starting to arrive at a faster pace. Lots of new stock in the existing brands, a few new brands landing as well. Come check them out and make sure that you’re signed up to our newsletter to be the first in the know when they arrive.
Snow season is around the corner too, we’ve already got a small selection of the newness to come, with lots more on the way – it’s going to be a really exciting season!
Finally, here in Notts we’re doing an Instagram story takeover every Thursday to keep you up to date with our in store shenanigans and changes. Frankly, we’re all pretty rubbish at social media so make sure you’re following @two_seasons to see us fumble through it and make a clown of ourselves.
See you all soon!
Hey it's Brett from Nottingham!
It’s Bart Simpson’s fault. All the injuries, the scabby knees and broken bones. I blame Bart.
It was a Christmas many (many) years ago when I came downstairs to find the cruiser Santa had left for me. A blue deck with that yellow boy on, bright green rails and a tail guard, huge translucent wheels. I loved that thing, and I learnt my balance in a little cul-de-sac. I believe that once a skateboarder, always a skateboarder, even if you don’t skate anymore. Working this job has only reaffirmed that, I see the dad’s bringing their kids in for their first setup and you can see the nostalgia running through their minds, “maybe I’ll get one too and we can skate together.”
I’m at Two Seasons because it’s a special place, I love it and it’s as simple as that. When my daughter was born premature at 26 weeks, we nearly lost her a few times. These people were there for me, they checked in with me, they gave me hope and they helped pull me through. They didn’t have to do that, but they did it because they’re people that care – and that shines through in everything they do. We’re led by a man who understands the importance of family, the importance of being good, honest and caring – the importance of looking after our planet. How can that not be special?
Long may Two Seasons continue. I’m here for the ride, I hope you will be too.
Hi Im Jacob
Im a skier/snowboarder, I actually bought my first helmet and jacket from Two Seasons a long while back. I was introduced to Two Seasons Nottingham while I was at uni through the snowsports society, where I photo/videographed the trips, and later found myself working here at the shop! Its definitely the best Job I've had and I've met some amazing people along the way.I have over 10 years experience of snowsports, so feel free to ask me any questions you may have! (I took the ski photo!)
