What the Libtech guys say about Banana Technology Snowboards
Banana Technology replaces camber with rocker "banana" between your feet. When you stand on your board, pressure is now applied inward to the edge area and between your feet as your weight presses out the rocker. The built-in rocker curve makes the snowboard float naturally in powder and the firm nose & tail prevents the snowboard from folding in chunky conditions!

Ok, so that's what it says on the tin about Libtech Banana Snowboards. I know what you're thinking, I thought the same, is this just another way for us snowboard junkies to part with more of our hard earned cash on new technology, what's wrong with my old cambered board?
I guess you have to try the new Libtech Banana snowboard to believe it, and that's just what I did.
I have been snowboarding for about 15 years, and ridden over 100 different snowboards, some good and some rubbish, but this Banana Technology with Magne-Traction is up there in my top possibly even no.1!
Why is the Libtech Banana Technology so good?
Ok, so when I tested this board I was blessed with some of the best snow conditions of the season, with abundant powder thi board was so much fun.
The banana technology snowboard I rode was about 5cm shorter than I normally ride, but this really didn't seem to be a problem with the rocker "banana" in the powder, through tree lines it just floated with ease, without that back-leg burn!
So it handles powder amazingly, what about piste and park?
Ok the parks were closed all week due to the weather, so I tested mine and the board's flatland skills on the piste, nose to tail presses switch riding, 180's ETC. Usually I would be on my ass at some point but no. To mine and my fellow jibber's amazement I just kept spinning and jibbing away.
The banana technology just made it all so easy, surely this is cheating! Who cares? When you want to have some of the best days and the most fun ever snowboarding I would choose Libtech Banana snowboard.
